In the spring I gave a TEDx talk at George Washington University in DC, and it’s featured now at TEDxFoggyBottom. I argued that hostage-taking and human trafficking were not so different: Somali pirates were engaged in both. So what’s the best way to fight a trafficking gang, given that its main business is cross-border smuggling?
Harden the border?
If you like this talk, please share it far & wide. I’m available for events at universities, etc., and my recent immigration pieces for Bloomberg Businessweek are collected here.
Podcast resumes in a week!
Thanks everyone,
Mike
