Two Pirates Sentenced
This is a short note to let you know that 2 pirates in my case were sentenced last week in New York’s Eastern District. I was there and spoke on behalf of one of them. They got 30 years each, which is not a cause for celebration exactly, but it lines up with other pirate convictions. I’ll publish an essay on the whole experience in New York magazine this winter.
